Ms. Bowman
Ms. Bowman is a 2003 graduate of Oakland Mills and a 2007 graduate of Towson University. While in college she was able to study abroad in Seville, Spain and Cuernavaca, Mexico. She is now in her fifth year of teaching and is the Instructional Team Leader for the World Language Department. She teaches various levels of Spanish and American Sign Language 2. She is also the Spanish Honor Society sponsor and the JV Girls Soccer and Lacrosse coach.

Mrs. Florida
Mrs. Florida has been at OMHS since 2005. She is originally from Tennessee and spent a large portion of her childhood in Guatemala! She teaches Spanish 3, Spanish 4, and Spanish 5AP Literature. She has two adorable little girls who she loves spending time with! She is also a proud member of the homeroom committee and is our Student Government Association sponsor!

Mr. Tourtlotte
Mr. Tourtlotte (or Mr. T as we call him here) teaches Spanish 1-3 at OM. He graduated from McDaniel College in 2009 and attended OMHS for 2 years before going to Hammond High School! In his spare time he enjoys running and traveling anywhere he can! He is also the Foreign Travel Adviser for OMHS.

Ms. Bove
Ms. Bové teaches Spanish 1, Spanish 2 Honors, and American Sign Language here at OM. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010. Not to mention that she is a proud alumnae of OMHS! While in college, Ms. Bové studied for a semester in Madrid, Spain, which was one of the best experiences of her life! Currently, Ms. Bové is the sponsor for the Academic Coaching program (a tutoring program for student-athletes). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cycling, and hiking.

Mr. Blankman
Mr. Blankman teaches Spanish 1 and 2 at OM! In addition to teaching, he is the sponsor of the International Awareness Club. He has been teaching Spanish here for 6 years and has two sons who both graduated from OMHS!

Mrs. Tourtlotte
Mrs. Tourtlotte teaches levels 2 through 5AP of French! She graduated from St. Mary's College in 2007 and also studied at University of Quebec at Chicoutimi and is completing a master's program in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. In addition to teaching she enjoys running and is the 2012 class sponsor. She also sponsors the French Honor Society.

Ms. Hunter
Ms. Hunter teaches French 1 and 2 here at OM! She graduated from OMHS in 2008 and loved it so much that she decided to come back for more! She attended St. Mary's College to study French education and graduated in 2012. We are lucky to have her on board this year!

Mrs. Menegay
Mrs. Menegay teaches Chinese 1 and 2 at OM. She was born in Taiwan and her first language is Chinese! She loves teaching Chinese and one of her favorite hobbies is to travel. She is a sponsor of the Chinese Honor Society and she would love to sponsor a Conversational Mandarin Chinese Club.

Mrs. Thesing
Mrs. Thesing is originally from Colombia (and now teaches in ColUmbia)! She teaches Advanced and Intermediate Special Topics for Native Speakers.
